About Bvoc

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has launched a scheme in 2014 on skills development based higher education as part of college/university education, leading to Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) Degree. This degree is focused on universities and colleges providing undergraduate studies with unique judicious mix of skills relating to a profession and appropriate content of General Education to ensure that the students have adequate knowledge and skills, so that they are work ready at each exit point of the programme.

About Sound Engineering Degree

The B.Voc. Degree Programme in Sound Engineering is a Semester wise study model spread into 6 Semesters over 3 years of study.

The Degree is Broadly taught in Two Components: Skill & General Modules. Skill Constituting to 60% of Study Hours & General not exceeding 40% of the total curriculum with adequate emphasis given on Entrepreneurial and Communication Skills.

The B.Voc. Degree will be evaluated by Jagannath University and Training will be Monitored & Delivered through the Skill Partner/College namely : PATSAV Academy, through an existing mechanism of a Credit Based Assessment and Evaluation System in Semester Mode for the B.Voc. Degree.
